Magic is something within ourselves that everyone possesses. It’s life our life force. Magic is the energy we put out into and pull from the world around us. Energy vampires are people who can drain our energy. To protect ourselves, we can wear protective jewelry, carry protective stones, or make a protective spell jar. These energy vampires aren’t necessarily evil people; they may not be aware of their own power/magic. They may have gone through trauma and are dealing with it poorly. A lot of introspection (a therapist can help with this) will help start their healing process.

The force behind witchcraft is belief within ourselves. A belief that the universe (whether it be gods/goddesses, a single higher power, the universe itself, or something else doesn’t matter) will help us provide what we ask for. Using focused intention, we are able to guide our own energy toward our desires. The key to witchcraft is all about intention. If we just go through the motions, we won’t achieve the results we were hoping for.
