I'm glad you've found my blog, and I hope you stay for a while. My name's Dylan. I'm a 25 year old, queer, non-binary, Satanic, witch. This is a place for me to express my craft in a creative way (and hopefully inspire people along the way). I live on the east coast of the USA.
I grew up Evangelical and was completely brainwashed until about 14 years old. At that point a friend had me questioning why I believe what I believe, and I couldn't come up with a good answer. So I started exploring. It started with crystals. Then I joined crystal Facebook groups, which led me into witchcraft. I started learning as much as I could and collecting jars, herbs, candles, altar cloths. And making things like moon water and crystal grids. Around 18 or 19 I came out of the broom closet to my friend and found out she'd been going through the same deconstruction process. At this point I started buying witchy books and doing simple spells.
Now I've been practicing for at least 7 years and am always trying to grow in my spirituality.
I have 2 cats: Regina and Madelynn. Regina is at least 12 years old, black, and the sweetest creature you'll ever meet (though rather shy at first). Madelynn is the devil. She's 6 years old, white and grey tabby, and an absolute banshee. I love them both dearly, and they are my reasons for living.
I love reading and am generally reading at least 2 or 3 books. Leave a comment with any recommendations. I highly recommend Rebel Witch by Kelly-Ann Maddox as well as The Witch's Book of Self-Care by Arin Murphy-Hiscock.
